Yesdi eye puttid won coat ov gloss ont won side ov ate flowa buds fer me doors. It be chilly int garrig. Eye assa cold now. That be the inside side witch be by the fraym. Eye will do uvva side when buds av bin mountid ont me fraym so it seels the gaps between flowa buds.

Morning All

After a damp start it seems we are having some sunshine until about 4PM.

After a quick bacon-n-egg nosh I shall be up that ladder putting the last topcoat of masonry paint on.

Not sure about the black gloss, as that takes longer to dry off/skin-up.

Brrrrrr was a cold yin the morn, bit o frost on the grass sun is oot though smashing morning

Im off to the yard to mess about till lunch time then I'll get my chainsaw out, got a tree thats
leaning in the direction of my landys, I dont really want them squeeshed so needs must.
Its got worse since I put gabion baskets along the "burn" bank (stream for @Stanleysteamer)
& some of the roots are now on show. Hey ho chop chop..

Success!

All the white areas have now had 2 coats of masonry paint.
Saturday (predicted to be a "no-Rain" day) will be the day I do the black gloss on the Sills/Cills.
I am pleased with the results. The installation of the new windows will doubtless create the need for more painting to touch-up areas they make a mess of, but that's OK.

Well just back from testing saga. 2 cars 2 trailers, got a 75% score

The fender runs LPG and because its on the logbook as LPG/Petrol they are now looking at tank dates

never looked last couple of years so not sure whats changed. Anyway it appears its out of date and has to be replaced. So off down to a garage for new tank and cert tomorrow about 150 quid so not too bad. but other than that it would have got a pass so that's ok.

Picked up some sand and cement on way home, so I know what i will be doing over the weekend, maybe

500kg of sand and 2x 25kg cement less than a tenner

We appear to be in the middle of the weather system at the moment as the wind has completely gone, along with the rain.
It's actually trying very hard to brighten up but I fear by the time it does it'll be time for the sun to set.
