Eye as burd news fer yer. Thar be singin burds int un arownd me garden. Eye sumtimes ere em un knows wot they is. But sum be difficult. So eye as fownd an app witch is free that can record un analies the singin un tell yer wot the burd is. If it int shor then it will give optuns un teld yer ow accurate it finks it be. Just before you put the lid on, pour a little white spirit or turps (I assume we are using solvent base paint) into the tin, carefully, allowing enough for about 1mm deep. Move it around wiv a little stick until it covers the top surface, then put the lid on. It stops skinning over and replaces the solvent lost while the tin is open and you are painting. Mix in before next use.

Danny's Shed of Doom
Today I finished the doors. I put the feather-edge siding on the front-face of the doors, incorporating an overhanging drip-bar at the top (to stop water dripping onto the tops of the doors) and the siding goes past the door-cill at the bottom. Internal shoot-bolts (top and bottom) were fitted to the inside of the left hand door and a hasp was fitted across the pair of doors at the front.
While I was doing all this, my wife put another coat of black stain/weatherproofing on the barge-boards and corner posts. Finally, she put a dab of paint on the exposed timbers of the door carcasses.

Took a wrong turn & unable to find somewhere to u turn so round I went past the river & under the Clifton bridge.
