The all too familiar battery issue that every Range Rover owner (all models) becomes familiar with.
Battery just losing charge/volts it seems.
Put the key in yesterday and the USB thingy in the cigarette lighter socket said the battery was down at 11.8V. Went out and did the family shopping and when I parked up back home again the Voltage was 13.2, just checked it 30 hours later and it is down to 12.3.

I have marty's fob-filter fitted and I know the BeCM isn't waking up needlessly, so its either A.N.Other parasitic draw or a duff battery. What are the odds?
Battery megastore are due a fresh supply of MF31-1000's today. :-D

ripe for replacement then ;)
Just took the cover off, its a 100AH Duracell battery, but the front plate with the dates etc. is hidden by the rear of the tray (big plastic pocket thingy).
I unscrewed the cell breathers/top-up bungs and they are all only just above the plates. It might indeed be time to put a new battery on.

Sounds like the battery is self discharging, I have a 2.5 year old Varta that is the same.
The Hankook MF31-1000 is much better IMO. Whatever the brand label, many batteries in the EU come from the same factory.

Does it have 3 or more year warranty the dealer may replace for free?

Any chance any of the plates are exposed above the electrolyte if parked at an angle/on a slope?
If all the caps are removable I'd add a little distilled water to each cell & the either take for a drive to mix things up or stick it on a battery charger to do the same thing.

Had to replace the battery on my p38 last year. Got a battery from Europarts at great expense that was supposed to be for the RR - but when I fitted it the battery leads would not reach the terminals - the battery was 'the wrong way round' and only fits in one way. Had to get a new Neutral cable made up!
Good battery though...

MF31-1000 ordered from Battery Megastore.
The web-site said it was back in stock, they took my order and money, and now tell me they have not got any. LOL.
Might get it next week I think.

They've supplied the wrong battery.
Stand facing your battery with both terminals on the side nearest to you.
If the left hand terminal is positive and the right hand negative then that battery is described as 'left hand positive'.
If the terminals are the other way round then its a 'right hand positive'.
Might help in the future.

Yay, Finally after a 6 day delay my MF31-1000 has arrived from Battery Megastore. :)
It didn't get here till gone 4PM so it didn't go on today and I am already busy tomorrow so it may have to wait even longer. :(
Goodness it is a big 'un isn't it?

Your starter motor will know it. And becm will be happier.
It just fits- I had to squeeze the positive cable through a little bit for it to reach but it does.
I am hoping the fit will not be too troublesome. I am going to cheat and connect my Ctek onto the car in "supply" mode so as to avoid resetting all the windows etc.
I will monitor this quite closely in the early days as the supplier says a battery that is 10.6v or below will not have its warranty honoured.
Never seen the old one on the car below 11.8v, but it drops to that all too quickly. Hopefully, this one will be better.
