Hi All,

Sorry to make my second post a post for 'help'! I was underneath my new purchase yesterday and noticed that there appears to be a plate or a grommet missing from the transfer box / gearbox area. I have located a photo which I hope is attached here.

The questions are, where can I get a replacement grommet from and does this void carry a substantial amount of oil (that I have no doubt lost!)?

I have used the search facility but I have not found my answer so, again, my apologies for this being a cry for help.

Kind regards

Hi Guys,

MANY MANY thanks for all the information provided above. It is very much appreciated. :5bcheers2:

I have now ordered the bung from my local dealer (Droitwich) and I'll fit it as soon as I get it. Thankfully no need for jacks or axle stands to do that, just a dry floor and suspension lifted!

Kind regards

Don't forget the axle stand, we don't want to lose a member of the forum.:D

I am very pleased to see that you are now calling a bung a bung and not a grommet, which it isn't. Jolly well done sir!
