Ah, i believe you have two, one for each side of the vehicle. It's between the bulkhead shelf and the windows...
My S2 has climate control. It maintains the same temp inside as it is out by regulating the inside air through the cunning use of the gaps where the gearstick gaitors and door seals should be.

Sounds petty but the rest of the forum is supposed to be for questions.

I thought that was how it works. You look outside to see what sort of car you've got, (better chance of getting a helpful answer if it's a Land Rover) then go to the section for that vehicle and ask your question.
Have i been doing it wrong these last 3 1/2 years?
