Just two days into my membership and I've just read this thread. Excellent stuff! This is going to be useful to me in the future.
Thanks for kicking it off, landrover11019,and for all the fine photos. Good advice from everyone else too.
It seems to me that as long as you have an idea of what colour scheme you want, hand painting makes things so much easier than having to set up all that spraying gear, yet still can give a decent result which is well suited to the rugged old Defender-style Landies... but only if time is taken in the preparation.
I think I'll practise on SWMBO's Avensis ....!
