Good bye Daiengland. Anyway. I can't decide wither to roller paint or spray my ex mod 90. At mo it is camo black and green straight from the army. I have garage and spray gun and air generator

We hand paint (with foam roller) all our trucks as they get bashed about down here in the tight lanes and they only need a repaint every 5 years when we sell them I will be painting the 90 when its had its 200tdi fitted but heres a pic of my Jumbo Transit. Damn how do I upload pics on this?

Going to be doing mine at some point, what's the minimum temperature this should be attempted at?

Great results with the roller so I'm prepping mine at the mo with rollering in mind. I have paddocks paint in Masai red for the body and Limestone for the safari roof.
Question, do I use the paint neat or is thinners used in the mix?

wow.... quick reply.
Thanks defender11069. now to wait for the next dry spell. Not too many in Lancashire. One side rubbed down so can continue prepping. will post pics when done.

Hi everyone, these all look brilliant. I want to do my 110, white roof and green body. As buildings contractor I have used foam rollers hundreds of times, applying the paint doesn't concern me at all. What worries me is knowing exactly what paint, how much to get and where to get it from?
Do any of you live near swindon in Wiltshire? I say near within a few hundred miles, would you be willing to let me drive to you, and get some hints advice in person?
Would any off you consider doing it with of for me so I know it's done right the first time? How much do you all think this costs?
Thanks for everything so far it's inspiring.

Sorry for the bump, but I just wanted to say thank you to the author for this guide. My car has been rotting from the inside out, so I needed to take some drastic action, but didn't have the money to respray it.

I stumbled upon this thread through Google and even though I don't own a Land Rover, it's proved invaluable to me. I followed all the advice and it turned out great!

So once again, thank you for the guide, it's helping lots of others outside the Landy community :biggrin1:
