I had a locking wheel nut jammed on another car but that one had an outside part that just spun when I tried bashing on a socket. I ended up welding an old socket onto it and threw the rest of the locking nuts away.
In my experience KwikFit use windy guns to put the nuts on, then check with a torque wrench. Only problem is the torque wrench will always click immediately without moving as the nuts are always too tight.
