with an unlocked diff ,if both wheels have equal traction drive to each will be equal till another force like turning a cornerNo cos it would be impossible for both to be driven at the same time on an open. It may look like they are as both are powered at a similar rate with drive swapping rapidly between but open diff one will always have no drive and one will have. It's just the way they work as the spiders don't lock, tc just brakes a wheel making the diff switch to the wheel with grip in order to try and keep power down
