I am in llanelli south wales. All the dash lights have working bulbs. I will be trying to work out what is wrong tomorrow

Right here is an up date, I have jacked one rear wheel up with it in gear and rocked the wheel back and forth and it is moving both the front and rear props. All the bulbs are in the dash and working, there are no lights on and no strange noises or anything. The rear is not giving any drive when the front spins it will just sit half way up the grass hill digging holes with the front wheels. I ant got a clue what to try next???? Can anyone help me????

If you have a center diff lock, which you might not have, you push the hi-low lever to the left.
Even if you don't, it should kick the traction control in to brake the front wheels and transfer drive to the rears.

A high low and the normal stick. Is the diff lock electronic??
disco 2 uses traction control instead of cdl on most ,it should apply brakes to spinning wheels ,its not infallible but pretty good ,hence the question earlier about warning lights ,if yours isnt working

I am confused now. I thought that a 4x4 had drive to all 4 wheels? Mine must be special lol I give up, anyone know of a good garage????

@ Quin - for the traction control to work properly you need to ensure the engine is at constant revs - about 2500rpm should do it - this allows the TC to operate correctly.

it does ,but to enable 4x4 on the road it has 3 diffs one in each axle and one in transfer box, center diff lock ensures both axles are driven and drive cant be lost through one axles wheels or wheel spinning traction control on yours should take care of that ,seems yours doesnt work

Okay I think I understand. Thank you all for your input and patience. Now how do I check the traction control??? Are there sensors on the wheels diffs transfer box????
