Hi Lee

We got a really basic welder from tools direct. No actual power setttings just speed and duty.

It is seeing us well and we are trying to learn as much as possible. As you might have read, SpitfireMK1 is gonna pop round and show us how to get the best from it.

I do not expect that it will last us for a huge amount of time, but Kai yearns to learn the basics and i do not have the resources to buy a really expensive one.

I have read a load of stuff on the net. It is certainly a lot more involved than turn it on and get a result!

Kai's having A good time though... and I am getting veery funy looks and 3xpressions of astonishment from people when they find out he got a MIG welder as a gift rather than an X Box Game!

Hey Jai

Come over with your bruv! You know how much Kai enjoys your company.... ( and me of course lol)...

We are both learning at the same rate...(though he might be a little better than me!). A play time would be great fun!

Hi John,

I'v been to broomhills for some cleaning equipment on the odd occasion and the other halfs dad is well into his shooting at Bisley. The next meet is next Wednesday from 8 Pm again you are most welcome to join us in some friendly Landy banter and some mickey taking out of the usual suspects.

Hi All,

When your next meeting at the Half Moon,

Would like to go to the next meeting, Just got myself a 1985 90, a lot of work required.

Thanks

John

I can assure you lots of welcoming people you just gotta jump in and start chatting when you get there. Some of the local off road clubs seem to be a bit off putting almost clicky but I would like to think we are nothing like that.

We are about to organise a greenlane trip to Wales later on in the year (once we all have saved some pennies after xmas). Our greenlane weekends away have, todate always been fun family oriented with a few beers and a bbq in the evening. Lots of fun and being sensible and not upsetting anyone while we enjoy our hobby.

If you need anything else just shout even spares or whatever its worth a shout somone might have somthing kicking about in their shed they want to get rid of cheap or even free. Jai

1985 and 1986 seem to be the ones that keep going, my 90 is a c reg its sand glow and covered in camel stickers. I'll post some pics in a bit.

I like a bit of competition and testing my driving skill that trialling offers I belong to this club:
Anglian LRC - Home
Its not for everyone but worth a look to see if you might be interested.

hey Ryder ie your bored I might take my landy to work saturday and have a go at the byway near Aldbury mabe make a short early afternoon of it Jai
