Not sure about the multi-coloured pipe's
I have, well i did the last time i looked.Anyone got a snorkel on their disco ??
The standard breathers come up the bulk head and stop level to the rear of the head. same height as the air filter intake. so if you don't think you will be going in water deep enough to need a snorkle then there is also no point touching the breathers. So should i just do all the breather pipes and leave the air intake ... crankcase and gearbox ? I cant say i plan on going doors deep in water!
Is that all the breathers Kris, including the rear axle? The standard breathers come up the bulk head and stop level to the rear of the head. same height as the air filter intake. so if you don't think you will be going in water deep enough to need a snorkle then there is also no point touching the breathers.
Yes mate, all the breathers clip to a bracket at the back of the head between the engine and the bulk head.Is that all the breathers Kris, including the rear axle?

Both axles, gearbox and transfer box, the pipes come up the back of the engine and loop over like a hook. What about gearbox one ?

I just took what was available off the shelf, they didn't have both sections in any one colour in stock, I figured by the time it's coated in mud, it'd be one colour anyway. Top quality silicone hoses though. Not sure about the multi-coloured pipe's
Hi mate looking really good, i think it would be well worthy of a spot in one of the Land Rover mags.I just took what was available off the shelf, they didn't have both sections in any one colour in stock, I figured by the time it's coated in mud, it'd be one colour anyway. Once again big thanks to you for the box.Hi mate looking really good, i think it would be well worthy of a spot in one of the Land Rover mags.
What happened? It works!!
The rangie appears to be in one piece again and doing what it is supposed to.
Fitted the recon rad today -purrrfect. Attached flexi to snork, working well, got the grease gun out and did prop shafts and ball joints, turned the abs light out again, did some welderin and it's all lookin gud. Thanks to Zoolandy for the use of the vehicle lift, that was cool.
There are a couple of minor jobs I'd like to do but don't want to temp fate so will probably leave till after Salisbury. Its bin a gud day, yee haaaaaaaaaa.
Plus, I have a set of Green Classic Rangerover doors at work that need shifting so if anyone needs any of em pm me we can sort something out will be cheap!. Jai
I would Imagine they are Ardennes green, thay are from a late 3.9 inj and are laying in a room at work, I will confirm what colour exactly when I see them tomorrow as I can't be 100% sure as yet but will let you know. Rangie brought for a Dakar project (horrible horrible rangie based kit car) have loads of spares was told to ask about before going on ebay. Jai
