lrj propshaft UJ's easy allow a couple of hours, about 8 quid per UJ

brake pipe about an hour leaving time for rusty nuts and PITA stuff.

Fuel tank no idea! Hate fuel tank leaks!!
 
Just got the dreaded call from the garage , he said well over a grand to fix it and vat on top. Not including fuel tank leak. I will go pick it up and order parts myself. No wales for me i guess :( I can pick up parts this afternoon in the vain hope someone could help me tomorrow but I don't think it's worth it.
 
Ah, thats a bugger, Hmmm, odd about the wheel bearing. at least the tanks more or less drained! It'll be a fair bit but at least it won't need doing for a while. And they will have all the tools required, Unlike us two at the weekend!

May i suggest we do a few local lanes this weekend with a night or 2's camping somewhere and plan a wales trip for later in the year? Just as it seem's there are a few wanting to go but can't this time due to brakages and things? Shoot me if its a silly sugestion! :D
 
Sounds like a grand Idea, Considering. Maybe we could do some lanes towards Booger then he could tag along for a couple of days who else is up for This?
 
Can I suggest next weekend instead because with all these bank holidays I won't be ready for this weekend whether its local or in wales! It just dawned on me as well I can get very cheap hotel rooms in Bala. Work benefits ;) If youre not going to wales Adam, fancy helping me some more with the PAS system and UJs? :D And clean the vRS too this time so we can go take some awesome pictures ;)
 
I'm going to have to do some lanes this weekend and some camping somewhere as the misses will be annoyed as she has taken time orf and is short on holiday days this weekend.

We can do, I was thinking maybe an attempt at Huntingdon to The beach again staying where we did last time. and actually trying to get to the beach this time. :D:D
 
I'm free Sunday & Monday for laning if anyone's interested. Santa Pod lanes are supposed to be opening on 1st May, but might be delayed due to bank holiday.
