the bank is about 15-20ft...

i left when the disco was secured up on the flat and maved back 10ft...

it was slideing straight off the bank .we had to keep it stropped or it was gone with beakers 110...

we did thet red and then retied and again,,,....very slow.each time we moved it it slid off again..

couldnt hardly stand on foot..

I agree with BoB... The past two days it's p**sed down with rain, plus overnight! It's become a right mushy mess!
yes its not good..

i hope there going steady its a real tw@t that 1....

ive done a few recoverys and pulls but for outright dangerous this is top of my list.Death by drowning was imminent and looseing the disco is also an option.it will be slow...

Should of had a tirfor anchored round a couple of trees. slow and easy would have been out in a jiffy. I'd have been tempted to dig a rut for the Offside wheels to follow if it was that gooey..

any news yet, are they out?

it looks really wet and slippery on that track, hope no one else gets stuck.

out of curiosity ryder how long was you stuck for to get the cup?

got caught on a similar sloping path a few years ago.....feeking nightmare!

Ended up using two snatch blocks to haul my own arse back on the track and still for every foot I went back she went 2 foot sideways
Built up the low side with brushwood laid lengthways in the end.....took 6hrs to get aout 30' inall

Heroic effort.....well done guys

red it was on a tirfor winch two strops...and beakers winch..

do northoffroad do recovery or just bumming?

If ya mean that puny little wire rope hoist thing?? that int a fooking tirfor.

& ya don't tie a sloping vehicle on the lowest side. ya fix ya recovery gear on the side furthest from the slope.

Ok I know I weren't there. But from what I've seen of the pics it really shouldn't of been a difficult recovery. certainly not the length of time it's taken.
