Hertfordshire Lanes?????

Hey guys, im a relatively new landy owner looking forward to doing some greenlaning later on this year. I was wondering how far ahead you plan days or weekends? It would probably have to be later on in autumn before I have the time and money to join you all but i thought i'd let you know im interested in it :D

Hi Jack,

Laning is either done on a spur of the moment thing or we organise weekend trips, either single days to specific areas or further afield for whole weekends.
We have a pub meet 1st Wednesday in every month, you're welcome to come along, White Lion Home
 
Would love to join you but we are going away to Norway on the Thursday so its not really an option! :p Hopefully I will be able to manage the next month..

My spare is up the spout atthe moment but I wold say your best bet is take a trip over to Luton there's a battery place that would probably rebuild it for a lot less than another alternator will cost.

Give me a mo I'll see if I can find the details and I'll PM them over.
 
I have managed to source some winch rebuild kits for Tmaxx winches EW series if there is any interest I'll possibly do a couple of rebuilds or a winch service for members for some beer tokens..
 
Jai, If you fancy a challenge and some tokens of course you can give me a hand with getting my winch working.

looking forward to Saturday, shame it's so dry though.

Dan TD5 Alive sounds grand, now you can woop down the motorway at 85 and have loads more oomph.


Been in conversation with Francine at Bedford CC. I know Spyderman got the original message about the closure of Sandye lane near tilbrook. Anyway will tell more at the pub meet but it looks like a few of us could help them do some lane clearance once the bird nesting season is over with and we save them a few quid which would leave more dosh in th epot for other lanes to be repaired etc.
 
Should have my winch sorted by Saturday assuming the courier service delivers on time. Need to give my mota a quick once over and clear out all my crap out so we can have a good go at this comp Saturday.

Spyderman have you got a passenger for this comp?

Just thinking it might be worth us getting passengers we trust to rig up winches/ropes ect so we can do our best in compeating in the comp.

Would have loved to come along, even if only as a spectator, but this weekend I shall be mostly clearing the garage out.

By the way, is anyone going to Billing this year?
 
Billing Not going to go its always the same. Same traders selling at inflated prices better off waiting til afterwards and getting the bits at internet prices.
