It wasn't very rainy but was very muddy. Every lane had a ford... even those that weren't supposed to... this was seriously flooded - even though we still drove the lanes they were all in a condition that our passing could not have made them any worse, or damaged the underlying surface at all.



I have to thank Becca and her other half. He knew the area better than us and was an absoilute whiz with the map reading - Gibbo Phil from LZ even tried to turn his 90 into a boat (submarine?)



The first trip out with both lots of forum members was a delight and I hope we will be doing many more. Thanks to those who came for makiing it such a memorable experience.

The map belongs to gibbo Phil, if you want to meet up in Dunstable sometime I'll take it off you - he turns up here from time to time though not as often as he used to (for romantic reasons I am sure!)

Sounds like you all had fun on sunday, a shame i couldn't get out. but should be alrite for something next sunday, think its whaddon.

Would love to get to the pub meet too, but found out yesterday that i have to drive to Frankfurt tomorrow, oh the joys of making plans and the work cocking them up!

Anyways, hope to catch up with you all soon.

Ah well not being the one navighated I just followed and drived and didn't get stuck... did yer notice spyderman???? didn't get stuck!!!!

T'was certainly essex though... I noticed the welcome sign just above the water line!

Almost needed a snorkel.... not for the car but for the passenger who needed something to put in his mouth that would give him oxygen if we submerged!

I was just thinking it's been way too long since you've been really stuck and we haven't been out recently.:D Jai loves rescuing people anyway.;)

That video wasn't what I filmed either, that was Daniel, and he should've held the camera up a bit higher!
And he filmed on my phone too...But it didn't save, he can't work my phone :)

I'm sure we can convince hom to do it again. hey i fancy trying out my water proof exteme cam reckon I should do a deep fording session before i change my axles anyone else up for a trip out Standon?

I've been looking at the maps this morning with Ryder I want to go out this weekend, Saturday is preferable for me, in case I break it, gives me Sunday to sort stuff, but Sunday is OK too.

Who fancies it????
