Jai and B3aker......I is liking the sound of that France/Spain trip so keep me updated.....aslong as it's not Too Extreme and can get time off etc etc I wont be able to make the pub meet at will be in Cornwall and coming back either the Wednesday or Thursday so depends when im home...

Ah well....

Planned to go today right up to the last minute but the fact that the snow was a tumblin' and I would have had Andy in the car with me persuaded me that the better part of valour was the order of the day.

Will be trying again in a fortnight though.

Did it snow?
here was bright sunshine a couple of dark clouds but the most of the day was great.

We had a couple of inches here over night, and it was like a blizzard when i woke up.

I woke up to snow at about 8am, by 10am it was all gone.

It was gone when I awoke the second time... this afternoon - you have to remember that Andy has no use of his legs so if anything HAD gone awry he would have been in a worse position than Kai and I.

Maybe it makes me a chicken but I honestly thought it best to wait and go when it wasn't chucking a blizzard at me!

My disco is still out of action at the mo' but daaaaamn.. check out that weather!!!! I was stuck this morning at the bottom of Harlingon Hill because 1 person was struggling. When they got up... finally... i drove my ten ton double decker with no problems. Some people just don't know when to stay at home....

i didnt realise how crap modern cars are in the snow until this am wide road tyres suck! Think i was going at tickover 1st gear and skidding like feck all over the place a bus coming down a hill locked up all four and nearly took me out near Tring

Luckily I was up your way ish last week at RAF Brampton don't take an asian lookin man with you you get some weird looks when you try and enter the base! If I'd have left it till now i'd have been ****ed off driving around the camp in the snow so it aint all bad!

Its not settling on the roads, just on the grass and anywhere thats not got heavy traffic running over it.
