I finally took the cover off the Series I, Looks pretty good, but quite a lot to be done to get it how I'd like it. No rust is the big bonus. Looks OK though.
I'm hoping I can free the siezed clutch as I don't fancy pulling the engine out, it's huge The block is mahusive.
yu could allus pull the gearbox instead?? or drive the series around with the pedal pressed to the floor and then release the pedal and stamp on the brakes a couple of times. That'll shift em sometimes.
I've had advice to get the engine hot, drive it in second gear, then hit the brakes and accelerator at the same time and wait for the bang, whilst trying not to crash at the same time.
Oh and you know I was moaning about vices being expensive I just won a half decent one in Sandy for 99p.
