Sorry to hear you had a coming together with another car Disco01, Is there no chance of getting it better with a block/hylift?
I once straightened a suzuki with a hilift after a good friend tried to do a J turn in his GF cul de sac and ended up on its side the results wasn't too bad. But it depends what you are doing with your insurance

Ryder Blocks are not that bad an idea the problem you will have with Luke is that his upper body isnt tall enough to see over the bonnet and if you sit him on a cusion his legs are furthur away still. Same problem with my youngest neice but she is growing slowly. if you drill a hole in each pedal after taking off the pedal rubbers and use some 6 inch blocks with a nut inset you could bolt them in quite easily.

I see what you are suggesting Jai, but the issue then is with rapid swapping between myself; kai and Luke. He can see over the bonnet with a booster seat that I am fitting with a retainer strap. Both kai and Luke would benefit from a little more access to the pedals... especially since Kai mis-judged his position today and tried to limb us out of a very deep rut/gulley!

I have an awful lot of footage from sunday that I am trying to condense down as far as possible.
This is the first part. Even if you find it boring, it does show what the result is if youi secure the camera in the vehicle. I think the result is much better than tring to hold the damn thing while careering over humps and water crossings... more in part 2

the footage is good mate looks like it was a nice day.i need to get myself over there at some point.im surprised how good the mounted camera is,is dash or window mounted.

Built a little pod to go between the OS bar and the clocks... use it to put the cb in. Kai put a screw down mount for the camera on top and this is the result

Well it does seem to work well, I am thinking of putting mounts on the outside of the motor as well.
It's all to give the kids something to remember their early days of driving really... I share it on here but it's done mainly for our own memoirs so to speak

The mount I am talking about if a small hole with an M6 bolt through it... m6 bolt fits directly into the bottom of most digital cams and camcorders.

Its not really relavent but there is an RC meet happening for scale off roaders in Ashridge Nr Tring/Dunstable on Saturday where grown men (kids at heart) will be diving about in their home made scale rc's
