i didnt use a light bar, took roof lineing out drilled some holes and bolted to the roof, i gona get some sheet metal off 1 of my m8's and start the welding for the MOT today if the weather clears up, takin ur advise ryder MOT due mid july so starting now :)

light bar suits me better because i may need to remove it for the roof rack so keeping the roof in good nick is a nice advantage!

got my mot in late june - need a new exhaust at least for that, will have a good look at some point
 
If you're gonna do a light bar remember to have a separate switch in place for MOT!!

I have to get ready for the test end of May; just ordered a new rear section for the exhaust then a small patch to weld on one of the sills and replace a couple of split ball joint gaiters and she should be ready to go (I hope!).
 
yea will also get a seperate switch for the rear work light - i dont get the point in it only being used while reversing - would quitel ike the ability to turn it on at will really!

anyone know a disco owner in bucks. big tyres, light bar, steering guard, 2 front jate rings. see him parked up locally, i think he's a builder. was nice and muddy today! will be able to get more info - cant remember the colour of it, im thinking blue.

may just leave him a note some time!
 
Talking of a light bar, my electrics are FUBARD, just cables twisted around each other all the same colour and not marked up!!! May well be having a little re wire session soon. (I say that not knowing how difficult it's going to be)

Last 3 pics looks Like standon as the tree in the middle is the same type of tree and the exit is by the side of the houses. The 1st pic looks like fernaux pelham.
