Does anyone know of anyone except Ashcrofts ££££ that sell uprated front shafts. 24 spline Diff end and (strong) early 90/110 23 spline CV end?? Any ideas??

Hey Spyderman are you about tomorrow morning? Any chance I can pop over to ave a look at your wheels to see whats what etc? I gotta be out early to pick up some bits then I'll be back about 10.30 ish I think Jai

I think (hope) I have foun the cause of my 65Mph vibration. My front propshaft UJ is naffed so thats my first port of call then. hopefullt there isn't much else to sort out now Jai
 
Hey Jai, happy to see that you are getting to the root of the issues!

Spent all day getting he garage ready for proper use as a workshop. Have now got clean bench for electronics and a dirty bench for machinery. Vice is ready to fit, air tools poised! My old xfer box is on the bench being stripped to see whether there is any chance of salvaging a usable unit.

Jai any time you want to start on your transfer box it is sittiing ready to begin.
 
Oops Rose just dragged me in from the garage (workshop). Seems I have been out there for too long this evening unbolting everything in view on the xfer box, cleaning mating surfaces and so on all in the company of HART Fm and a bloody great ratchet! Stubborn bolt is gonna receive attention of the angle grinder on the morrow... and I still have a tracker to install on the shogun before demos on tuesday!

This is one workshop that is going to get some serioius use!
 
It was going so well, I managed to get the drag link arm off and remove the joint only to find I needed a L/H thread and not a R/H as I'd been advised. So I figured I'd change the other side only to snap the bolt on the damned clamp, so tomorrow/today is a no go for me now as I need to find a replacement bolt. Have fun guys.

Cracking, thanks for the warm welcome and the kind offer to show me the ropes. The Disco has recovery points so shall be fine.

Been out and done a few gentle pieces today enjoying the sunshine around my local area today Much Hadham and Standon etc today doing some light work and really had a good time. Even the girlfriend got into it.
 
Anyone know where I can get rid of my Bronco grizzly claws for some dosh?

235 85 16, 2 x legal no illegal cuts one almost new one about 1/6 worn, 2 tyres illegal but I have been driving them about deeps cuts and chunked. All have plenty of tread minimum I guess would be about 8mm. Another tyre is scrap internal damage free if wanted as a spare but I would rarther bin it.
