this is the one Streetmap.co.uk- search results for 505055,204767

it dnt look that bad in the pic but i took 1 one the way out, i'v stoped on top of the 2 hills

I believe we drove that lane last summer... if it is the one I am thinking of it starts half way up a hill and then wends its way down to the road over the bridge. Ur was certainly open then but the only way to be absolutely certain is to look ar the difinitive map.

yeah thats the one, a came from the way you came out, all the byway signs where still there and none sayin i couldnt so i did, like i said i dont look that bad in that pic but i had to use low range after the front was over the 1st bit, i only live 5 min from that lane so will try and get a better pic

yes done it a couple of times, once at night in the snow and once in the day when i came across the farmer on his quadbike, he gave a nasty look as i tryd to move over for him, it was half way up the hill in the middle and i had to stop and struggled to get moveing again on the snow, if he moved over in the 1st place which he had plenty of room to do instead of stopping i wouldnt of had to stop, how you getting on wiv fixing ur cars

Its been a good day. Turns out that the core plug had popped out both sides. Long job to get to it and replace it but I have been able to do that today (more accurately my 9 year old did it today;))

A little welding to complete and then the mot for the shogun. Then it is on to the xfer box fitting!

On another note has anyone ever had any problems with Shropshire Landrover Services Shrewsbury? Am about to start to take legal action against them for non refund of money and general poor customer services as I feel 4 months for a refund (which still hasn't happend is unreasonable. Jai

4 months! that is taking the ****. is this for mail order stuff Jai or work done?

I know the feeling jai i have been waiting over 6 months for a refund from la supertrux and well i know i aint got a chance with explore pro comp uk as they took my £300 and went bust!!!

There's definitely something to be said for cash purchases then!

Finished bolting the exhaust back together, filled it up with water and started the Shogun. Water draining (albeit more slowly) from what looks like the bottom pulley area. Gonna try K Seal and if not then it's strip the damn thing down again and try to change th gaskets!:violent:

In the meantime started work on the Disco :)D) Noticed one or two jobs that will need doing for the mot... track rod ends, shocks n stuff but overall I don't think it's too bad. 'Course some will be saying to themselves

"Yes Chris but you know nothing"

They are right as always but we'll keep our fingers crossed and a list of landy zone members phone numbers affectionately called the advice line!

So fingers crossed for Kseal for tomorrow! Saff's off to Dunstable at Stupid o clock in the morning so we can get on with the Disco in her absence!

DB it was mail order stuff sent them a 28 day notice today get their arses movin'

Hey Ryder wot you doin now more ****ing water??? It can't be that Hard, driven from the cam shaft similar to an old vauxhall engine then? I always thought they were like landys and taken from an auxilery belt (you live and learn) get the job done once Properly don't bodge it (K seal Tut Tut) so you haven't got to come back to it after it takes 3 times as long and you usually end up spending alot more money in the end with the motor off the road longer.

Trial is next Sunday ALRO club land rover rules and regs etc all down to driver competance and not seriously modded suspension and lockers. Beginners (tyro) and better than beginners CCV with MSA approved and certified cage. It should be a goodun Jai
