hey ratty mate, come spemd a saturday with us and we'll show you a few of our local lanes. Fords and pelham included! No vehicle, don't worry there's always space in one of the vehicles for a navigator!

Dont they all.Mine just dont talk to me for a few days after i go laning and get dirty. She never comes tho coz she is a bad passenger/traveller. Bit of a puker

It's taken 3 1/2 years to get mine to drive the landy and now if we go off roading I can't get her out the driving seat.

I may just take you up on that offer.

when you come down to salisbury you want to do it when there has been plenty of rain. It is a bit dusty otherwise and you end up overheating on the way home cos yer rad fins are blocked where the puddles are pure mud rather than water/silt mix.

you can always come and stay at ours. maybe be a tent in the back garden...but the road test would be good. DiscoBasher is our resident local tech head, unless you're talking about computerised additions and then thats me/us (in case the wife's watching)

I have a vauxhall ashtray back-up vehicle and an a-frame to collect a new landy with (or I could get the missus to drive like I did when I picked me last one up from scotland).

I am an ex Salisbury resident and done a fair bit on the plains but not for a while now. Fantastic place and plenty of it. Do you know if the byway past imber is open again as it was all blocked off a few years ago and my kids wanna see it?
