Good luck with the pot rivets ..

Will be wanting to do the same shortly and run some wading breather up the snorkel too ..

You take care mate ..

Its been quite easy so far except getting soaked. Gonna get some pipe fittings and extend my breathers upto the snorkel top aswell.
Need to find out about the timing case breather as mines got aircon so the tensioner is in the way. The adjuster seems to be hollow so maybe I can put a junction in it and just drill out a1/2 inch ext bar to go over the junction but need to check sizes etc. ( I hope ive lost everybody now ;) )

Discobasher,

Sounds like you going for it! Not sure about the last bit but if you look at RS Components you can buy appropriate nylon tube to extend the breather pipes at sensible money, not sure about fittings though. By the way if you need to do some pop riveting I have a small riveter - a manual one but it works quite well. If you want to borrow it you're welcome.

Thhanks chaps! Kev, rs is good but like you say they dont do fittings. There is a truck place I know of in Lincoln who are dirt cheap and know what thins are and do.I can kit my disco out for about £15 inc post. Or like many others go on eblag and part with £30 + post ;(

Blimey this thread moves a bit ..... don't blink you'll miss something.

Yes I have a SWR meter and you're welcome to use it. Hoping to be there at the weekend, but finances have taken a major hit this week so there is a possibility that I amy have to duck out. Disappointing to say the least... but hey we'll try to be there!
