Was an awesome day guys, thanks a lot! Good to meet new faces and explore in new areas.

Well guys great to meet you all was a good day, sorry about torlak hope you get your motor sorted.

Hate to say it but very impressed with the standard gaylander sorry Freelander.

Hopefully mine will be out next time.

Just been to engineer he is going to have a look at crank tomorrow and see if I can get away with it so may get that back tomorrow or some time next week then it be loads of late nights till it is running again

It never fails to impress me everytime I take it out! however its not totally standard it does have a 2inch lift and larger mud tyres.

Literally watching Top Gear and marked up my Luton and Herts, cambs and Newmarket and Chelmsford maps.

Just need info some research as to what's actually open. Chelmsford was always full of lanes

Are you coming next time. They have a few closures now but wont be long before there all closed. Im going to do as much laning as i can next year. Cant beat a day out in the countryside.

For interest (coz I'm new to this), should a ROW with a TRO be signed at the entrances?

Just wondering what the legalities are if a lane was driven with the understanding that it is open, when in fact it isn't?

Imagine if we had to plan whether each road was open prior to every time we drove somewhere on the normal road network

Most closures are signposted clearly or gated. local councils can give you more information.

Cambridgshire gate most of them with really obvious signs, Suffolk also signpost quite well with less study gates....I haven't come across a TRO in Norfolk yet but all three counties are quite good at letting you know on the ground - but most have interactive maps online where you can check first.....
