Ye the handbrake is more there on an advisory basis at the moment. I never used it and used to leave it in gear when parked.

Woop Handbrake rebuild sounds fun!! Done mine 11 months ago and now I've stopped dunking it in 3ft of cruddy water its stayed good. shout if you need anything last count 13 handbrake drums!! Need to de clutter. EEK

Do the x-brake conversion I did it after I burnt my last hand brake out. One of the best mods I have done?

Yeah that is the plan eventually this close to Xmas though I think the misses might kill me.

Lee no need to buy x brake if it's stripped and cleaned the oil seals are good thennthere is no reason why the handbrake shouldn't work unless it's dunked on crap and not cleaned. Brett's x hand brake was always sheering pins leaving him without a hand brake.

I'm out now. Done most of the ones I know are legal. An only met one angry bobble. I think I need a little note time I. The light to investigate some more. I need to check the legality of one in sta but I'm going to attempt to find it anyway as I'm over here. (Obviously not driving it.)
