I was trying very hard not to trap my fingers, so when I slipped I moved my hands out of the way as quick as I could, so I wasn't leaning on anything anymore and toppled over face first. :eek:

This was Easter weekend, at least its fading now.
 
Excellent! Was it the front or rear brakes ?

I got a full set from Dingocroft complete with new springs and drum screws. Irronically I did not need the latter as all the screws were perfect!

I ought to get some wheel cylinder service kits though as some of the piston gators were rather loose. Othere than that I was delighted that all the drums had virtually no wear and all the adjustors were in good condition.

It was the fronts. I had a leaky wheel cylinder, so changed that and replaced the soaked shoes. It was Mintex shoes and a Lucas cylinder.

Should be setting off in 1/2 an hr so see you there

My rear uj's gave way today so I removed it and had to drive home in front wheel drive. When applying power whilst cornering, it felt really juddery / jumpy- it was fine applying power in a straight line.

Does this sound right, or does anyone have any suggestions on what it can be- I am assuming it could only be the diff? but no idea what.
 
Uj's in the axles depends how you men juddery ?

It will feel slightly odd depends how bad.


Trial tomorrow at Brickhill RTV with Chiltern and tyro open to all vehicles
 
That's correct. Because series have uj's in the front the transfer of power especially when cornering is juddery. Once your rear is fixed all should be well
 
Missed the Fun!! it was mental!!


Laid out and run the CCV sections 12 sections all done by 7 vehicles one double driven.No broken motors but plenty of bits to get those V8's purring and the diesels smoking!!

Bloody Knackared!!!!

Bring on the nationals as hopefully should be quite chilled.

After coming back I fitted my jubilee clips to the rear springs no more popping out rubbing the tyres!!
