It's Anglian and Chiltern vale land rover clubs aroc and CSMA members (this time)

It's trials driving and CSMA members may tyro trial or drive round. Chiltern vale and Anglian are competing in trials it's not n open event. By all means come up but unless you are a member and your motors comply with regs you will not be allowed to play. Maybe some give for tyro trial however you will need to he a member for insurance etc

Come up and see what a decent ccv motor can do it may surprise how relatively std setup well thought out built motors can do

Thanks for the info Jai. I'll just wait for the burnham one this month I think. I still have a problem with the truck/rear axle lurching around which I'm trying to figure out anyway.

Went and took a look at the little lane by the dog kennels after picking the kids up from school today... it's got a sodding great tree blown down across it.... still off the ground by about six feet but not looking too entertaining.

Noticed that some naughty people have been "adjusting" the wideth restrictions on Slip end as well... at the bottom end at least.

Jay.... think less about small sapling and more....giant redwood!

BTW

What Auto box can I transplant into my disco? It has an auto in there atm but it would benefit from being replaced.... and that is the only bit of a disco I do not currently own! Bloody typical really!:D

I don't mind spending a few quid to get a good and reliable box in there. The engine is good... or seems to be, would like it to be fairly reliable eventually. Wasn't too worried about the engine when I purchased it... I have another.. and the important thing for me was that it had not gone in the normal places and that the chassis was sound.

If we need to spend a bit to make it into a good motor then that's great.... not going to be off roading it in any serious manner... maybe an rtv or two and a little laning.

Should be good!!

Stu
