Lee. I got a welder you can borrow, if it's just the footwell it's easy enough. Might be able to give you a hand one evening next week but busy this weekend.

that is a truly terrifying prospect, having never welded before i think im more likely to set fire to something than achieve anything productive :s

also, should i buy a fabricated footwell or just some sheet steel? any thoughts?

Buy a fabricated footwell, I will give you a hand just not this weekend. I normally set fire to myself during a day's fabrication

just need gas as I haven't got the right regulator for the bottles from Killajoules so still on the disposable bottles.

Fookin good send off for Killajoules's brother, proper northern fun but getting home at 1.30am having the police slow down as I walk past drunk, and got to be at work in 6 1/2 hours but who cares.

Re footwells depends how bad a small hole depending where it is can
Be sorted with plate or sometimes even easier depending where and how big the hole is

Well, don't I feel like a numpty. Texas though, I'm sorry for his loss! There are a lot of septics there. Haha. At least there is one more real 4x4 there now though

Jai, it's a fairly big hole, great as Aircon in the summer but not great on water crossings. I don't really know how big is too big to plate over. I am on my way home from Heathrow at the mo so when I get a chance (probably tomorrow) I will post a picture.

Pretty much all small stuff. The biggest thing is the near side swivel. The only daunting stuff is the electrics which I hate and the time frame I have before going away again.
