Was it a bailey morris one. Just had one built by them. Nice heavy duty prop. Very pleased. Whats the cost for roundhill on the 28th.
 
Roundhill is trialling not a punch event different club punch stuff bit it's something like £25 to be a member yearly membership that's all the insurance and the latest regulations book for you and all that then the event fee is £20 per event I think.

Not sure i think it may be cheaper to join as the year is almost out but don't quote me on that. Tyro is tame and can be boring really for new drivers as it has to be within limits to be 100% safe designed for 14 years and above but gives an idea ir regs and rules before playing RTV or CCV where the fun starts. If nothing else, come and have a look see might be able to take you around a section or someone will (my 90 isn't gonna happen before then) otherwise it wouldn't normally be a problem. Tyro it's a lot easier to jump in and have a go its there to introduce new members and make it easy to get involved.

Having received no reply from my last correspondance ive now spoke to my local councillor. Further to my previous email regarding closed boats im wondering after a prolonged dry spell why are they still shut. How can they possibly still be wet. Im starting to wonder if these are going to be permanent closures. Forty foot has been tro'd for years for the same reason. Damaged ground. Have you walked it. Wheres the damage. I think it is time to open these rights of way. An answer would be appreciated.

Defo banned but might let you take part in tyro ans no points. wilould be funny tho as youd miss every gate!!

RTV is too serious no way they'll let you play!!
 
Hate to say it Spydy but your wonderful front bumper is totally against ALRC regs. But all is not lost, the Anglian and BHCLRC would probably let you play.

You could also check with the CVLRC scrutineer there, as I think they do a class for the modified vehicles, at the end of the day its about having fun more than being uber competative.

You could come along to Roundhill and at least take the **** out of me fecking it up :D

Finally got the towplate attached so I can fit a towball to the rear.

I never built the Landy with competition in mind, it evolved from where it was, totally standard to where it is now by trying to overcome its shortcomings whilst out playing either on lanes or pay & play. Keeping it reliable is paramount, then its capabilities, nothing quite like driving past a modified Defender in an old Series.
Having been to a couple of trails for me there isn't enough driving time during the day, I like punch events as its driving all day, rather than waiting your turn to drive for a couple of minutes.
 
Cvlrc isn't he best place they simply hate modified motors plenty of other clubs about.

Adrian Fett, wel no Surprise there then ones simply told over the phone he could not confirm or deny if a lane was legal (I already Jew it was legal) and that I should not drive any until I found out.

I once timed myself when competing in a trial.

Driving to and back home from the event 2 hours 15 mins.
On site attendance at the event 6 hours.
Competative driving time 11 mins!

That was that and then I started Competative safari with the AWDC. Each single lap was a lot more time than a whole days trialling!
