Don't think I could wangle an extra night as work will go nutz! lets see how it goes. I just found out that Ive been entered into a trial on the Sunday at Brickhill. Doh! Don't think I'll make it back for that one nevermind. Ryder Can't remember if your mota was injection or not I think you told me it was running carbs but still unsure can you clarify?

I know we gota split up into groups , But we gota make sure we at one point meet up for a huge group photo with a cool back drop of the Plains ,,

I know it wont be greenlaning PC to have so many of us together at one time ,, but would make a great shot im sure ..

I'll be ok, Ill come in the works Van and park it out of the way at DB's house. It would be handy if you pm me his addy though not been there as yet. Jai
 
Dont worry lets make sure they send the right bits. Got my Pc Its mahoosive! getting some RAM tomorrow hopefully 2x 1Gb 2100 DDR. Then Its operational.


Just thought I'd mention its been said before but, Anyone who is comming to Salisbury that hasn't got dedicated tow points front and rear (tie down loops are not tow points!) let us know. No shame in it, its just prior warning means we can sort something out for you before we get into the muddy stuff. If that means borrowing jate rings or whatever its worth sorting before hand Jai
 
I'll be bringing the Discovery with front mounted winch and trailer.
Recovery gear, saw, spade. straps, chains, shackles, winch block, basic ground anchor and sledge hammer.
A set of tools to cover most jobs and a few spares, U/J, water pump, wheel bearings and bulbs.
CB radio and phone.
Tent, food, cool box with beers and small BBQ.
Straight bar for towing if i get chance to make it before Friday.

This is the original 10 for which DB booked pitches for Saturday night.

Since then, way back in the mists of time the numbers have grown. As I understand it, the notorious 10 above will be joined by:

Gibbo_phil
Ratty
Robint
Robpenrose
90boy
3 Rangey boys

I also seem to think we will be joined by a couple of additional Frontera's, one of Gibbo_phils mates and another with Kris300TDI.

That, if I have counted correctly gives us 20 motors!!! So I'm guessin there is gonna be something like 40-50 people coz I know some will have passsengers.

Can you all confirm you are coming, if your name is not on the list by tomorrow, I suspect it will be too late and the campsite will be full. I think we're O.K. for contact numbers.

Now for a couple of obviously daft questions -

Does everybody know where we are meeting?

Do you know where the campsite is?

Do you have a pitch booked?

Have you checked your camping gear?

Are you confident your car will make it?

A gentle reminder, check, check and check again you've got a week to sort it out:eek:
 
Kev, Am I confident my car will make it? Now there's the $64,000 question.

I'm in the RAC, full cover with all the bells and whistles.
