half shaft or diff?

It's 13mm and a std 13mm multipoint socket or ring spanner should fit it

I removed the front prop today as well, i twisted the bit on the diff that the prop attaches to and the half shaft was actually spinning at the end of the wheel but the wheel didn't spin , does this mean anything? and is it ok to drive locally like this with just the back prop?

It probably means that ye've taken yer drive flange / s off so the wheels won't turn

this was when the car was on the ground with wheels on and the rubber end cap was the only thing off.

If yer shafts are turnin' and the drive flanges aren't... it means the drive flanges are stripped and need replaced!

At least that one that's spinning anyway, the other wont because the drive is lost inside the diff
