Hi i'm a new member here, i'm 22 and only just recently got into green laning, bought a few OS Landranger maps around where i live, done a few light lanes and took the dog for a some good walks on many, can anyone recommend in a PM some easy green lanes where its possible to do some wild camping also? I'm saying easy because at the moment i dont have a winch or anything like that.

I know im gonna get alot of stick for this, but this is what im currently driving.

I know crap :doh: and its not a Land Rover.

But its not completely useless on green lanes!

there are quite a few out that way. I used to drive them with my local club. Im more familiar with the ones further west. If you can get across to Hay on Wye though there are some good ones NW of there.

Cheers Griffdowg, i go to Hay on Wye quite regularly in fact! Just took advantage of the Ordinance Survey's 3 for 2 offer on all maps and got myself:
OS Landranger Map 160 Brecon Beacons
OS Landranger Map 161 The Black Mountains
OS Landranger Map 124 Porthmadog and Dolgellau

So when they arrive i'll be having a look for some easy routes.

outlaw me and a few mates are doing a 3 day weekend + camping round mid wales March 18th if you wanna tag along? We'll be taking in the strata as well.
