Eyup Disco Diesel, BADLRC do public playdays at Hartington. Been out today over Bonsall way.Disco Diesel said:Hi, i just found this site through a search engine and registered straight away! I live in Chesterfield too and would like to know about some easy going green lanes close by. I don't want anything too challenging as my Disco is about 13 now and the only off-road mod are the All-Terrain tyres! Whats the deal with Hartington? I didn't know of any off-road places there? Many thanks,
Disco Diesel.

cheers LES.
Where abouts is the lane in cutthorpe - im not too far and looking for some mud!
I seems to also recall someones telling me there was an offroad course in unstone.
I have also heard of an off-road course near Unstone, but have never been able to find it. Urban myth I think?
As for the lane at Cutthorpe....
From the crossroads at Cutthorpe, head towards Barlow on the B6051. As you come out of Barlow, continue on that road for maybe 1/2 mile towrds Owler Bar. Before you come to the next village, (Millthorpe), there will be a small crossroads. Jonnygate Lane is up the hill on your left. Just follow that lane up to Jonnygate, (which only has two house I think?), and just after the house, the road will turn from tarmac to mud.
Hope that helps.
