This is a very good idea. You could have another siren hidden in the car to scare them off before you needed to confront them.

I know an EX motorbike tealeaf as part of a gang ... they used to watch forums for what alarms etc people have then they would club together and buy the latest alarm/ immob combos and then sit sometimes for nights together trying to crack the system ... most people put a sticker or whatever in the window of their car / bike so easy pickings once they know what you got so not really a good idea to broadcast details and make of alarm systems on a forum .,.. pm if someone wants to know but you gotta trust them

What we need is a sticker that says something like ' WARNING... imobiliser and alarm system fitted, brand not declared following security advice. ' They won't know what you have fitted, or even if you have an alarm at all. I think that you need to display subtle clues for the maggots so that they know you are security minded and have taken steps to protect your vehicle. Hopefully this will put them off.
