2 hours ago Bristish gas Got Multiple complaints of major gas leak from 10 different addresses in my street.......suspected split main gas pipe the engineers said...
Then I found this..(image attached)

Think it may be the vaporizer leaking a lot or a split hose, will find out tomorrow when I have a look.
Stag 300 been running 5 years / 80k, new injectors, pipes etc 4 months ago on a 4litre V8.

Will send the street major apologies....then get my coat.

My missus has already boxed up my range rover tool box for destruction along with the motor, I can't argue my way out of this one.

Goodbye landy zone. Its been a pleasure.

But if drinking beer makes farts....but also avoids the smell of farts

then I want to come and live in your world.

Once I've fixed the bloody p38. 😷

Its a great world. The only criteria is a great appreciation of alcohol and motor vehicles. I seem to work better on motors with a hangover and plan out the work better when ****ed. Hence why the sundays in my youth were spent fixing cars or installing stereos for other people. Paying for the beer tokens for the next weekend lol

Agree with data with all these posts about lpg probbs and auto box faults new there was a reason i got a manual diesel.

Keep an LPG system serviced properly & you shouldn't have any trouble.
Mine is notching up 100k on LPG now & at 55p/ltr i've no complaints :)

That shouldn't be able to happen on a properly maintained system. There should be two solenoids - one at the tank and one at the vaporiser to cut off the gas supply when the LPG isn't running.

A chipped diesel certainly won't leave even the 4.0 for dead. It will be able to keep up though.

55p a litre? Where are you getting yours from? The best I have is 65.9p at Shell, Haydock Island...

You are right.... Preventative maintenance would maybe have um.. prevented this.. But I suspect a main seal gone and there's a lot of seals on a p38....but not as many as on Iceland.

Anyway, FYI, vaporizer/regulator had done 80k mostly motorway and saved me a shedload of money in fuel costs so 20quid for a seal kit aint so bad.

Has anyone done a omvl dream reseal and can give me any pointers ???

I did my eas compressor and valve block last week and it now works like new....well impressed, easy and interesting job to do.
