Morning gents
I need to replace the nearside front noisey wheel bearing on my td5 disco but the guy at my local spares shop said i will have to replace the whole hub assembly !! Is this true or can i just do the bearing ? Seems a bit strange i would have to replace a 150 quid hub for the sake of a 30 quid bearing.

Get used to it - seems that's the way LR are going - just done the front ones on the D3 and they're the same, rear are just bearings - however - you need a big press to change them - not something most of us have at home!

Big drift and hammer also works well ! , sure make sure you dont hit the face off the new bearings and use the old bearings and hammer to get them most the way in
