Have you not pulled that pipe off the IRD breather yet? That should stop the smoking.I'm looking forward to getting my hands dirty and seeing what the outcome is. the smoke issue is a bit embarrassing, specially when there's a convertible behind...
View attachment 130979 View attachment 130980 Replaces two hoses is all so far, the New plain blue one in pic two and the black longer one in pic one, which had a 1cm split in it.
Which black hose? and I noticed the oil, have been checking to see if the oil level is going down but it seems ok?
Now I'm really worried argh
I was talking to you about that on the phone and took it off of the IRD to test and you said to reconnect it back to the IRD to prevent any particles of dirt going down the pipe, so I pushed it back on the IRD.
When the filter comes tomorrow or Saturday I will remove it from the IRD pipe and push on the filter, if that's a good idea unless I should do something about it now?
yes that connected at one end to the solenoid and the other end is connected to the IRD
Ok I will quickly pop out and pull it off of the IRD downturned pip.
