yep have also been thinking about that, ref the vcu and to see if the prop is there :(

think it might be a good idea as well if the egr is bad to take the inlet manifold off and give it a clean , along with giving the maf a clean

will then go though the entire engine and check the tyres and vcu etc :D

Just a quick question, does the crank case cover have to be changed? I've noticed the same part without the cover for sale for less. Of course if its necessary then it shall be ordered complete.

if i'm honest i bought the whole thing , it was as a precaution just in case there was a hairline crack in the casing , or stripped screws and the complete unit comes with all new seals

so when i fitted the complete unit i knew it was 100% without any issues

Your absolutely right, stupid for asking really. Will wait till Thursday to see if any better deals come up like you said. failing that I will order from the list you have provided. I feel 20 stone lighter already. Many many thanks

don't be daft , i'm the king of always asking things , everyone will tell u, lol

glad to be of help, i've got plenty of help from the forum , so good to always pass it on

plus the good thing is u start learning how things work on ur landy and save a fortune from garage costs :)

will indeed update the list if i see better links , plus once all the work is done u will notice the difference in the engine

think if we give it a test drive first please , i can then see what it's doing and at what revs
 
yeah that's fine with me. makes sense for you to drive it, so long as you can handle the power or lack of lol :eek:
