He's deleted his post cos he was being an arse from looks of things

Sorry about that guys

It was my reprobate idiot lunatic of a mate who is here from Canada and was on the forum whilst un-supervised.

Sorry if he offended anyone but he spent 15 years in the paras and fought at the battle of goose green so he is rather opinionated and difficult to handle.

Hope all is forgiven - I have moved him from the study to the lounge and settled him into the sofa with a botttle of jack daniels and some ice!!!!

all the best to doc and the guys

griffman

no he is not bipolar - he just thinks anything other than british engineering is crap

I told him in no uncertain terms that everyone is entitled to their opinions and that if someone wants to put a jap V8 into a landie they can.

He looked at me for a few seconds and then told me I didn't know what the f**k I was talking about and carried on reading his copy of classic car magazine.

Managed to get a clear day tomorrow- going to fit bumper, tidy up wiring, wire up fans till i sort coolant switch and swap wheels and see what other jobs need doing before mot.

Will see if I can get some pictures and maybe a video

I'm running the asin warner auto- monkey at machine shop has altered output shaft not to my liking- going to look for a spare ls400 to scrap again

I could do with conbined 38mm hose adapter for gauge and rad switch if anyone knows of a cheap supplier.
all I find on ebay is one hole adapters not two

MOT booked for 4pm tomorrow- as worried running out of time and want a list to work to :censored:

Ratty and my mate Jack will be getting few bits tidied tomorrow before and some wheels swapped

Got an mot- no advisories and the chap is knowledgeable about older vehicles- will try to get video up of return from test- too late today to tax it.

small teaser of my 90 powered by 1uzfe /asin warner auto/1.22:1 lt230 and on special tracks

Land Rover 90 v8 (special) first run - YouTube

25mph to 50mph in a national speed limit dash cam angle makes distance appear closer than it is.

less than half throttle Play LOUD notice tyre noise and also grumbling rear diff may possibly be heard
