Weak Spark - Why?

Good luck! I'm almost done doing all that on mine. Good thing, once it is done, it is good for another 10-15 years! Also worth checking the cam shaft, the original ones wear out after 70k km or so, and so slowly that you don't necessarily realize it.
 
Thanks. This engine is a sweet little lump if it's set up correctly, so that's worth doing. I don't suppose there's any easy way of measuring camshaft wear, though. Probably have to whip one out in order to to mic it up?

I don't suppose there is, but i’m sure the engine will let you know that there’s an issue with its camshaft… Tap Tap Tap😊

My 10 year old 3.5 RR engine did at 110k miles, but was fixed by my friendly LR dealer. So with a few other an niggly issues the RR time was up and so I replaced it with a D1 which had no issues… or rust, but the paint work was suffering being left outdoors in my 26 years of ownership.😢
