Thanks will try do that!Post in the correct for sale/wanted section and you might get a response!
Look at the photo…Why do you need a new axle ?
Wheel bent out from tube. Bet that was fun to drive
Ah, yes, see it now. Broken off/bent by the trailing radius arm ....
That'll wear the tyre and made roundabouts fun.
Ok to use the 110 axle as would have same load ratings.they just make a few changes to springs.Unfortunately have glimpsed the prices Would put it back on dented n scraped but the light column has snapped off… could fix the rivets but appears to attach structurally on the button :/ If anyone has any ideas on that?
Flatbed probably a good shout! Can get more logs on the back!!! Just like the look of the hicap tubs
As for Salisbury axle’s require a shortened prop to work with 6speed puma, which I don’t have time or money to get one properly made/balanced atm
Have access to a 300tdi rear axle 24spline apart from smaller spring seats, looks identical to current ones? Reckon these have the same load rating?
They are actually coming off an older Defender 90 which I used to own…has a gross weight of 3,500kg which is more than my current 3,050kg hicap
And just by chance I'm going to be selling a 110 front axle converted to rear wheel steer. New brackets etc, diff flipped. End plates rotated for caster. All new bearings, seals, diff rebuilt, callipers. Blasted and sprayed with a full zinc/tar/topcoat system. Mentioned in case you have any mates with more money than sense....All wheel steer…nice
