All the software like these use the same maps, Yes it's true!! So 2D and 3D almost looks the same, only thing dif is the set up! Example the Arrow which is your car on Igo is yellow, Pro I think is Green so on and so on, it's just the config settings which you can change yourself should you want.

Don't sure what software is in the iphone? If it's got Winc on it will work, same for any phone with winc installed.

For £200 you can get a nice unit, see Hippo's it's got TV inc so you can watch Corrie or Enders, come dine wif me, TV Burp!?

Lazy is good so your gonna have to sweet talk someone then!!
 
it doesnt mention anything else but the PDA version of windows mobile ?

im not sure what O/P the mobile runs ?
maybe win C ?

ive changed my link now to the manufacturers original webiste, i think it has a PDF download for it, maybe you can find out from on there ?? :p

And does it not come with maps installed already then?
Also do you have to buy the gps ariel as well or does it come with or built in. Are you getting it from eBay hippo?
 
Hippo, having looked at the Sygic Mobile Maps link it's hard to say, but the phone is like an Ipod but it's not, it's prob an android phone and they don't run on winc so it wouldn't work on your unit, if you can get it for Weeee then try it just to be sure, it wont knack your unit, the software just wont run!!

If that's the case we can sort something out so don't fret!!

Screen comes off, GPS ariel comes with it, you stick it somewhere either on dash or windscreen, I'm sticking me own up the top of windscreen on black part behind centre mirror.:):)
 
So how much are maps. And are u having trouble getting one for it?.
Do you know if it will Bluetooth music from the iPhone??
Shame I can't use the satnav from the iPhone too.

If you have a look on EBay look under search for DVD GPS you will see a bigger list of units, most will come with maps included.

Without knowing what unit you actually pick in the future I'm not able to tell you what the bluetooth is or isn't able to do, like file transfer, streaming etc, I'd have thought the bluetooth is only there for the phone mind, but who knows?

My unit has maps for UK, Europe, NI as well as Points of Interests, Speed Cam info, and a bloody good post code function, If I'm away driving somewhere I don't know and I want to go for a Pizza, I just choose options and it gives me directions and Tel number... which you can then select and call from the unit:)
 
well my one doesnt come with maps mate, but you can pay and extra £40 for one they also sell thats ready to go with the maps allready included and installed.

and i bought this unit also because it has the iphone, bluetooth music streaming ability.

so your music plays wireless to the stereo.

i think its the best unit, seems to have all the features i wanted. :D

No issue wif the map, we can sort that later, wink wink!!

I've only have the unit connected up in the house whilst I config the GPS and when I did try it for size in the car, the speakers and all that weren't connected just power so I haven't a clue if mine plays wireless??? We will find out I guess at the weekend!! Saying that I don't know if I would use it, other car has Bluetooth as standard and a Ipod connector but we've no ipods and not the sort of peeps to bother with mp3/4, kids do but they've never asked to stream anything yet!!
 
Sasha...you can have a flip out unit if you want you just need a fascia adapter like this one...

Saturday and not before!!! nothing arrived today, I think Friday might be pushing it for Headrests but who knows, Saturday I stand a chance......?

So with luck on myside I get it all fitted, inc headrests and get the alloy trim back on too! Dependent on the rain hahaha!
