Fitting a Double Dinn GPS/DVD into dash

Oh and by the way, my unit was booked my DHL for pickup today, !!!!

B@stards didnt even bother collecting it, put it down as failed collection, but they didnt even attempt collecting !!!

Buggers ! im going to put a complaint forward and get my £10.99 back ! rubbish ! now my unit wont get there till friday !

If you want but it's the same as mine just your paid 5 times more than I did, "keep looking" they're all the same, with or without LED is what you need to pick, but the price dude, look about find one with a price that's not supporting the family for an entire year!!:doh:

And don't forget you'll need a much longer AV cable than 5m.....

Plus some extra cable depending on where your gonna attach, you'll see what I mean when you go to do it. I've two cables under my carpet and that's not including the cable going to the lights!!

thanks for the info, well not going to get one yet. going to at least get my head unit in and working for more than a day ! LOL

then maybe later on buy a camera.

Just to confirm the HK system works spot on with my unit. You just need to configure the sound in the music playback menu.

bet it sounds good ah ?

is the HK much better than standard ?

im thinking of changing my speakers and adding a sub in the cubby as there not good enough quality for me

It does sound a little basey at times but with some fine tuning it sounds good.

Compared to my previous Freebie ('S' reg my current one sounds a lot better)

well, i would like to change my current speakers to some decent after market models.

can someone please confirm the cutout size for the speakers before i go and buy them ???

im sure its 16cm / 6.5" ???

and is there a problem with limited depth ?? may need some spacers if so.

are the jbl ones any better ?

as long as they fit well they should sound better than the originals

Thanks Telaren, as I can't be arsed I might just order one as yours is working fine bud did you use an iso adapter or wire it in yourself?

The unit came with an ISO connector which worked fine for the standard connections. Steering controls, illumination and unit extras require manual wiring or standard phono plugs.
