so they've taken a £7 part and charged me £33.44 for it?!? seriously?
so they've taken a £7 part and charged me £33.44 for it?!? seriously?
is it also relevant that for the first 10 miles home it pulled quite hard to the left under braking? I pulled into a service station after 10 miles to make sure it wasn't the camber or anything and phoned them.
they were more than happy for me to come back there and then to have a look at it, but having reversed back out of the parking space on full-lock left, it seemed to sort itself out and has been fine ever since. They did take the right caliper off, so is it plausible that it could pull to the left for the next 10 miles??
Just ask em what brand of bearing they fitted, not just on the internet - my local(er) place only charge ~£10 for the decent ones
were they supposed to check gearbox, transfer box and diff oil levels - check the filler plugs for signs of being removed.
were they supposed to grease UJ's? If so check them
If you dont feel you can, then ask them to show you them and prove that they did, because as yu can prove they didnt do the swivels, you want to be satisfied that they did the other work that they said they did.
