Hi wammers got me nano now:)

It's been fine lately trips to and fro to work apart from today typical .
Right well I've upped the idle for now to 129 both lift needle and cps remain at a steady 750.63
ECM faults
Immobiliser link fault I assume that's my unplugged alarm from fuse box .
Fault codes are rpm =33 yet cps and lift sensor are working as above
And water temp 207 current!
 now I assume that's the ecu temp gauge but what I don't understand it the engine temp is registering 90 once warmed on nano readings so something's adrift there, I got a new spare green water temp sensor in me shed I swap that over and take it from there

Thoughts please.

which one did you get theres a few different ones im wanting one for my diesel model and not sure which one to buy bells are the uk distributors for blackbox but seem like a lot dearer:eek:

I went for the evolution I've no need for swapping stuff like becm eek

Ya pirate

Me stepfather got one only too

Shot with an air rifle its never stopped him doing stuff

lost mine using a dremil never stops me from doing anything sometimes it might slow me down a bit but its great a kids Halloween parties scares tha ****e out of the grandkids when they find it in the jelly :D

which nano did you buy grit and where from i heard that there was a uk supplier and wondered if you had bought of them https://secure.bellautoservices.co.uk/store/diagnostic-tools/
Buy direct from BBS, Nanocom Evo for diesel, you can add other engines for £50 a pop and it's not locked to one VIN. Yes it has a small screen, if you want to use a laptop, look at a Faultmate MSV II, it's more expensive and VIN locked but very good.

Well I've checked both our cars on the nano both virtually the same .
Mine has not been cutting out lately I had the manifold off changed the ecu sensor I have noticed mine temp sits at 96 is that not a tad to high?
Clean

I have cleaned every connection conceivable ,including the fuse box I did notice the fip connector block felt loose the ring wasn't very tight
And the one and only fault that is current it
Imobiliser link fault ,every thing works as it should
I see this has been coverd before with no results .

96C is fine.

Thanks the reason I panicked I set of the temp warning in the nano at 98 .

Considering that the thermostat opens at 80 degrees and standard over heat warning is set at 98 degrees would say 96 is a little on the high side. Hovering around 89 would be more normal.
