OK, I appreciate that I can tootle off down to the council offices to search the definitive maps for green lanes, but are there other methods?

Does OS 1:25000 hold any clues?

How about on line stuff?

How is a UCR marked as opposed to a BOAT

The OS legend shows a marking for byways - but there dont seem to be too many.
