If the FOB still works, why not just get a new case and transfer the guts of your FOB?
Probably close in terms of the compensation you get if you lose them...
This is the avenue I am now attempting. I'll let you know how I get on. I might post a picture of the disintegrating key fob - advice from here is always appreciated.

I have done 3 of my P38 cases. Easy job, just take care when ordering, some of the Chinese cases are no good.
OK, thanks - I have ordered, apparently genuine LR OEM cases - for my L322.
Good effort - you'd think that would be a suitably ridiculous number - but no. Higher.
Ah, L322, be careful not to lose the transponder chip that is loose inside the case.
