Hi so SDD 164 has been deadlocked by age (2 years) so will no longer work even after fresh install.
I created a page to run it in a Virtual Machine, url: https://dl.ltsdiag.com/sdd
Documentation on how to run is there as well.

You will have to manually reconfigure modules or program as new to update.

After a few tries it connected to the server, downloaded what was missing and was able to set the lights and other things.

as build files and calibration files are missing, needs connection to internet to download. Or get the vm version I posted earlier.
 
After replacing the engine on my FL2 I had a whole raft of DTCs. I have worked through most of them but there are two that remain and won't go away:

U2101 - Control Module Configuration Incompatible
P1603 - Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory Malfunction (EEPROM)

The strange thing is that they don't have the engine warning light symbol next to them yet the warning light is still lit. Do I need to download the as-built files to sort these issues? If so, do I need to download them all or can I just download the one relevant one, my laptop is running out of storage? How do I download them, do I do it through the SDD software?

I noticed in the recommendations (in SDD) there was an option for "Vehicle Reset":

Is that something I should try? It sounds a bit scary TBH!
 
Try flashing pcm as new, have it connected so it will download the required files.
But have a spare ecu because if there is a fault indeed in there might brick upon flashing

Now that sounds like a job to do while wearing an incontinence pad! 😱

Any idea if the engine ECU is the same for autos and manuals or are they specific? Mine's an auto.

Do you know where I'd find the "Flash PCM" button?

Hi it's in service functions, ecu should be the same, I do not have time for this sort of support sorry youtube is your friend.

Does a change of system date fix the issue or is something extra needed?
Won't have time to try my system yet until the weekend
 
Ok so I have bitten the bullet and updated my laptop to Windows 10 Pro and am following the steps needed to run the VM.
Now I am just waiting on the 80 odd GB downlod for the full VM file, hopefully it all works as it should :)

It will installed on a few laptops already. This has been tested before.
 
Well I managed to get hte 75gb download.. but unfotunately when I go to open the VM it comes up as a fatal error.. so I have uninstalled VMWare and later this week I will re-install it and see how it goes....

Also you can have files needed for installation from me, if you don’t have those

Virtual machine works well for other things but for some updates need use of USB stick and those are not working. When you have installation direct to Win7 professional 32 bit, they are working at least for me
