When I was jet washing my disco afterwards I was especially pleased with the shear amount and variation of scratches I found, There was short ones, long ones, deep ones..... and rumour has it that next time the scratches are going to bring there Buddy BIG DENT with them and then I'll have a proper off roader! LOL

I have attached a few pictures of the day but there not that good I'm afraid.

Hi there im looking into trying out some new lanes as the only ones i no at present are the ones in surrey so would you be kind enough to drop me some areas that are within your area as from the pictures they look quiet challenging as thats what im looking for as the ones im currently doing are getting as non challenging for me now so am looking for some new lanes.cheers????

Same lanes just different area.
If you need more of a challenge try going to a pay & play site.

HI and welcome, how about getting to know people first, rather then on your first post in the section, that being second post, both asking for help..., nice lanes are closly guarded secrects, to were they are we try to stop them disaperaing due to muppets roaring down them, as George says same sort of lanes around here as in surry no more challanging, loads of our pics are from club off raod site and pay and play site's.

Perhaps a bit of foot work yourself may also help, ie reading maps, looking up the TRO's ect

No it's not just the truth. And if truth hurts to bad

well dont look like i will be able to get to the alternator till saturday now so will try everones advice forst b4 i pull it of the disco and then the bloke said about 4/5days so lookslike worst case will be ready for next week which is a shame as i just bought a snorkel&light bar for it lol

May well be..... some would say yes and some would say no.

Its nice to get to know people first, I don't mind helping people if they want to help themselves a bit, not just say I like that..... I want to know about it. a bit of homework helps... its only what I have done with the lanes in Wales that we will be using next month, looked at Whats about on maps found the ones that look interesting, the researched a bit to find out as much as I can.

Then asked others a few questions, looked them up on Trailwise and I've been in touch with the ROW rep in GLASS.

its always worth a go, I still got to have a go at repairing my two ones that I have that have F***ed up, just got to get them done really then I can get me dual alternator done as well.

Which Snorkel did you Get, dont forget your breathers as well.

No doubt I'll be thinking about an other tip to Wales in the new year proberly look at the Snowdon/north Wales area, Happy valley looks a good one to do.

i went after much searching and talking to ppl for the southdown snorkel
yes matty did say might as well do breathers as well while we are at it so at least it will be water tight for next time if not sand proof i have been speaking to matty once i have all the bits we going to fit erm so could be next week alone with light bar and lights
then its on to the dreeded suspension and lift 2 inch as thats a mine field in its self

Dont go for a 65 Amp Alternator, stick with a 100 amp, think that,s what's standard on the disco, if your putting all the toys on it like lights/winch ect a larger power alternator will be better.

That's for a 200tdi. The later ones are different I think. No serpentine belt on the early ones.

good price yes Geoff ur right but its the wrong one its only a 65amh
and only too 1994 mine 95
but yes once ur getting over half way to repair it then its time for a new one

yeah, they toys will soon be flooding in through the door........ 2" lift theres a lot of thought about what you want, should do ect, do you need all the trailig arm, props ect. you can only make the choice, talk to the guys then do a bit of pros and cons list,

yes stu you are not wrong there the lift is a headache as there is just sooo so much to take on board as well
yes if i lift it i will defo do the trailing arms and new brake lines
thats the issue the more u talk to ppl the more they advise you to somfin else
think it will be all terrafirma stuff in the end my be medium duty springs
